Newly appointed Co-Principal Viola in the Oslo Philharmonic!

I am so happy to share that I have been appointed co-principal viola in the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra!

Starting this august I look forward to many musical adventures with my new colleagues. I will continue to do other engagements outside of the orchestra, but a big part of my time will be in the orchestra!

In May this year Eivind recorded the viola concerto by Alessandro Appignani!

Together with Orchestra of the Accademia dell’Annunciata conducted by Maestro Riccardo Doni.
The recording was made in the church of San Bernardino in Abbiategrasso, Italy

Norsjø Chamber Music Festival on Norwegian Broadcasting

The final concert in Norsjø Chamber Music Festival 2021 has been broadcaster on NRK.

It features new music by Norwegian composers such as Klaus Sandvik and Martin Ødegaard.

Ødegaards piece “Grains” for solo viola was world premiered by Eivind Ringstad.
